Commercial Heating Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Commercial Heating Engineer to join our Clients Compliance Services Team during an exciting period of growth and transformation. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in commercial environments or domestic Gas Engineers looking to upskill and gain commercial gas qualifications. You will be part of a team that is dedicated to delivering safe service and affordable housing to our Clients customers.
Day to Day of the role:
- Carry out commercial gas servicing work, PPM, and heating breakdowns within communal plant rooms and properties.
- Assist with the installation of commercial central heating, hot water systems, and other heating appliances.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with prescribed schedules, Gas Safety regulations, and our standard procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service, keeping both external and internal customers informed on the progress of work.
- Participate in an Out of Hours call-out rota to provide a responsive service to mechanical jobs within our communal schemes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Demonstrable commercial experience or a background as a domestic Gas Engineer with a desire to upskill.
- Proficiency in using IT technology such as iPads.
- Full and current UK driving license.
- Gas qualifications including CCN1, CPA1, CENWAT, CODNCO1, TPCP1A, CIGA1, ICPN1.
- Desirable qualifications include TPCP1, CDGA1, COCNPI1LS, INSTALLER/COMMISSIONER – NG.
- The role is subject to a satisfactory license check, essential qualifications check, and a basic disclosure.
