Tenancy Management Officer

Grade 6, £31,364 up to £35,745 per annum pro rata plus essential car user allowance of £850 per annum

37 hours per week, permanent contract

We require a member of staff within the Housing team to provide a frontline customer focussed housing service, working within the Tenancy Management team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for dealing with a variety of tenancy management issues across their patch. This can include but is not limited to; maximising rental income, enforcing the tenancy conditions, supporting and signposting vulnerable tenants and dealing with sensitive issues.

Candidates must have excellent organisational skills, the ability to communicate well at all levels; have initiative, work well in a team and have experience of working with vulnerable people and dealing with sensitive issues both on the phone and by interviewing members of the public. Candidates will also be required to work from home, work from the office, and work within tenants' homes on a regular basis.

You should also good IT skills and the ability to use Microsoft Office and have the flexibility needed to conduct some out of hours working.

We operate a ‘hybrid working' model with a mix of office based, home and remote working available when suitable. The contractual base will be office based with agreed flexibility to work from home or at remote working locations in the borough
