We are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join a leading organisation during a period of exciting growth. This role is ideal for a productive and ambitious individual who is eager to assist with financial data analysis, preparation of financial reports, and support during the transition to new systems.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Reviewing and reconciling client accounts and resolving discrepancies.
- Preparing financial reports and statements.
- Maintaining financial records and online filing systems.
- Providing administrative support to the finance department.
- Assisting with the analysis of financial data to support business decisions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience with Sage 50 is essential.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Highly motivated with a commitment to completing activities.
- Strong analytical skills, particularly with Sage.
- Bookkeeping experience, including reconciliations and bank reconciliations.
- 2 years of experience within a finance department is highly desirable.
- AAT qualification is preferred but not essential.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
