Class 1 Driver - Heavy Plant & Machinery
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Paid breaks
Salary:
- £45,760 per annum
- Overtime paid at 1.5x the standard rate
Job Overview:
Based at the Weston-super-Mare depot, you will operate a Class 1 low-level flatbed vehicle, transporting heavy construction plant and machinery to various construction sites. Your duties will include loading and securing the equipment, conducting pre-delivery inspection checks, and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately.
You will also be responsible for transporting plant and machinery between depots within the company network.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with uneven or abnormal loads
- A current plant operator's licence is desirable but not required
Requirements:
- A valid UK Class 1 (Category C+E) driving licence
