On-going temporary role, whilst recruiting on a permanent basis

£16 per hour

Office based 5 days per week

8:30am – 5pm

A fantastic opportunity to join a leading UK based financial and professional services company, based near Liverpool Street. My client are looking for a Receptionist / Office Manager, reporting into the EA to CEO, who will be the welcoming face of the company and first point of contact for incoming calls. The position is integral to the smooth running of the business and will involve the daily running of the reception desk and office, managing the meeting rooms and all office management duties.

The position is starting ASAP and will be ongoing whilst the permanent position is recruited.

As the role is responsible for reception it will be office-based 5 days per week, and is paying up to £16 per hour, working 8:30am – 5pm.

What you'll do:

  • Be the central point of contact for the office
  • Meet and greet all visitors with a friendly, yet professional manner, whilst also answering all incoming calls
  • Ensure meeting rooms are set up and cleared down
  • Coordinate room bookings and facilitate conference calls
  • Manage supplier relationships for facilities of the office including stationery, building manager, contractors, security, franking machine and others
  • Maintain health and safety policies and procedures
  • Print, bind, copy and scan
  • Arrange couriers
  • Maintenance and reporting faults in CRM, ensure training for new members on CRM
  • Arrange equipment with new starters

Who you are:

  • Solid experience of working on a corporate reception desk
  • Available to start immediate, or with a maximum of 1 weeks' notice
  • Professional, courteous and confident to be the first line of contact
  • Highly organised and calm when working under pressure
  • Competent in all Microsoft Office packages
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A fantastic attitude toward picking up ad hoc tasks and getting involved where required
