Logistics Administrator

***Please note this is a 6-8 month FTC to cover maternity leave***
Duties:
- Planning & Control
- Movement & Storage
- General Logistics optimisation
- Developing transport schedules, methods, and routes
- Cargo planning, and strategies to improve depot/ logistics service centre operations
- Analysing and projecting transportation costs
- Coordinating customs clearances and permits
- Planning addresses capacity issues and production location decisions in support of business goals
- Administration of mobilisation and de-mobilisation / delivery of equipment and material to all new and existing project sites across defined territories, ensure submission of necessary documentation and update relevant systems and databases
- Ensure correct documentation of import and export processes for all materials and related equipment, liaising with appropriate authorities, as necessary
- Administration of required cargo/driver documentation and certifications
- Responsible for collection and delivery of equipment to and from customer sites
- Develop and maintain direct lines of communication with all transport suppliers to ensure all requirements are met
- Produce relevant performance monitoring data with regard to On Time In Full and transport recoveries
- Identify suitable equipment to fulfil contract requirements.
Experience required:
- Logistics experience preferred
- Strong administration skills a MUST
- Great Customer Service skills
- Working within a team you will need a 'can do' attitude as well as being friendly, people focussed and easy going and used to working in a busy office team. Good mixed age group within the team
