Working for a large hire / maintenance company in Patchway, Bristol, my client is looking to recruit a Parts Administrator to do the following role:
Salary: £28000
Hours/Days: 40 hours Monday to Friday 8-4.30pm with half an hour lunch
An opportunity has arisen in the Parts Department for a Parts Administrator, which would suit someone who would like to learn the valuable and sought after skills of a parts Administrator and is the ideal starting point for any individual looking to develop a career in operations.
Purpose of the job
Reporting to the Service Manager you will assist the existing parts person in the day-to-day running of a busy parts department.
Main tasks
- Identify and source parts to issue to engineers via the use of online portals.
- Ensure all deliveries are received correctly, checked, and allocated to stock daily.
- Daily administration
- Annual Stocktaking,
- Dispatching goods by courier
- Van stock replenishment
- Delivering excellent customer service both in person and over the phone
- Any other duties commensurate with the grade and post and as required.
Experience & Knowledge required for the job
You must have strong communication and organisational skills and be methodical and proactive.
You must also be computer literate and have confident telephone manner.
