This innovative system is one of the leading solutions in environmental monitoring, specifically in noise, vibration, and air particle monitoring.

As our IT systems continue to evolve alongside our expanding company, we are keen to build on the solid foundation already established. To support Hann Tucker's goal of sustained growth and innovation, we are looking to hire an in-house IT Systems Administrator to oversee all day-to-day IT operations.

About the role

The IT Systems Administrator will collaborate with the IT Director to manage and support HTA's IT systems effectively. This includes providing technical support to HTA staff and administering all hardware and IT systems, including backups, websites, and the in-house management database.

Responsibilities

Establishing good relationships with all colleagues and IT suppliers.

Periodic visits/liaison to support our office in Manchester.

Providing support to users and being the first point of contact for error reporting.

Troubleshooting all IT based systems, hardware and software issues.

Performing tests and evaluations on new software and hardware.

Ensuring all in-house IT hardware (and associated cabling) is well maintained.

Installing and configuring hardware and software components where relevant

Repairing or replacing damaged hardware.

Maintainingour Microsoft Teams telephone systems (third party supported).

Maintaining our printer and photocopier systems (third party supported).

Backup and basic administration of our in-house management database (SQL Framework).

Backup and basic administration of our website.

Developing and maintaining up-to-date technical system, hardware and software documentation.

Ensuring all electrical/safety standards are met.

Desirable Skills

Should be highly motivated, self-confident and adaptable with solution orientated approach.

Skilled and experienced with Windows, Linux and MySQL.

Skilled and experienced with Microsoft SharePoint.

Excellent communication skills including oral, written and presentation skills.

Excellent time management skills and ability to work on own initiative.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

2+ years' experience in computer networks and systems maintenance highly desirable.

Experience implementing IT systems to adhere to relevant Government policies, including but not limited to Cyber Essentials, GDPRetc.

Good problem-solving and attention to detail.

Ability to work in a safe manner and observe the company's health, safety and environment rules and procedures.

Ability to work effectively amongst your colleagues as part of a team, observing the company'spolicies relating to anti-discrimination, equal opportunities,and other associated policies.

The Successful Applicant

We envisage the successful applicant will utilise the above desirableskillsetin order to ensure our IT systems are forward-thinking and well maintained. This self-driven individual will develop and support our systems such that we continue to maintaina fundamentally robust IT backbone. This will allow our staff to provide clients with our market leading services and keepus ahead of the competition.

The scope of improving HTA's IT infrastructure is flexible. Therefore, following a period of supervision, will in time allow the successful applicant the opportunity to steer and expand the ongoing development through their own initiatives and ideas.
