Now is an exciting time to join a rapidly growing developer of Optical Communication Systems as their Verification Lead. Based from their London site, the role is offered on a hybrid basis.
Working alongside the development engineers you will verify the high-speed network interface technology at the integrated system level, working through a series of prototypes to deliver a production-grade solution.
Responsibilities will include defining the system-level verification strategy, coordinating test planning and implementation with the design team and external partners, and tracking progress to meet functional and code coverage metrics.
You will be managing the verification strategy and architecture definition and documentation, and planning and tracking functional and code coverage metrics.
This a key role, which will require hands-on implementation of verification infrastructure and test cases, likely in SystemVerilog, alongside the design team and external partners.
Managing all aspects of verification, with key stakeholders both internally and externally, this is a key role for my client's continued growth and further product development.
Experience:
As the successful verification lead, you should have extensive hands-on industry experience of industry-standard verification best practices, including SystemVerilog, UVM.
In addition you will have proven experience with PCIe, CXL, RDMA, DDR4, Ethernet and IP.
You should have a strong understanding of mixed hardware/software verification techniques such as cosimulation, coupled with a working knowledge of techniques for porting verification tests to real hardware.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor or Master's Degree in Electronics Engineering, Physics, or substantial experience within the industry.
