About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Geography Teacher to join our dynamic team at a secondary school in Derby. The ideal candidate will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess significant experience in teaching Key Stage 3 and 4 students within the UK education system. This is a full-time position that involves the comprehensive responsibilities of lesson planning, delivery, and assessment.

Key Responsibilities:

Planning and Preparation: Develop and implement detailed lesson plans that align with the national curriculum and engage students in active learning.

Classroom Management: Maintain a positive learning environment, manage classroom behavior effectively, and ensure the safety and well-being of all students.

Teaching: Deliver high-quality Geography lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students, using a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:
