Project Officer

We are seeking a Project Officer to join our team on a fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will be involved in managing a variety of exciting projects, including our resident grant fund, colleague awards, film projects, and book projects. This role requires experience in managing projects, stakeholders, and budgets, and offers a hybrid working arrangement with 2-3 days per week in the office.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality projects.
- Execute and deliver all projects on time and within scope.
- Coordinate activities within the workstreams, aligning with the overall project objectives and timeline.
- Allocate resources effectively, including budget and personnel, to execute workstream activities.
- Identify potential risks and issues, developing plans to minimise their impact on the project.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather input, provide updates, and address concerns.
- Track progress within the project, providing regular updates to the project manager and stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Demonstrable experience in managing and/or assisting with projects.
- Ability to work proactively and independently.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Strong organisational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking.
- Experience at a senior administrative or project management level, preferably in a large Housing Association or similar organisation.
- Ability to coordinate activities and ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Experience in allocating resources and managing project budgets.
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement and communication.
- Proficient in tracking project progress and reporting.
