Role: Transport Planner – Days
Location: Luton
Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday
Salary: £33,000

Role Overview
- Promote effective and efficient standards of work, in order to comply with transport legislation, company policy and Health & Safety legislation
- Utilize and maximize the use of trucks and drivers in an effective and efficient way Actively seeking loads and back loads for the drivers
- Manage trucks, driver hours and WTD rules, as well as coordinate and monitor the drivers
- Answering phones, dealing with customer queries and booking on jobs
- Keep and record all driver data, fuel data
- Plan and schedule in an efficient way
- Transport Modelling
What we would like from you:
- Transport Coordinator (2 years required experience)
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and laws
- Transportation Planning and Transportation Management skills
- Experience in Operations Planning
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Knowledge of Amazon platform and Haulage Exchange
