Description
- Management Reporting: Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives and identifying variances from actuals.
- Cost Analysis: Conduct detailed cost analysis and identify areas for cost reduction, efficiency improvements, and profit maximisation.
- Financial Planning: Support strategic planning by providing financial projections, scenario analysis, and financial modelling.
- Business Partnering: Work closely with department heads and senior management to provide financial guidance and support on key business decisions.
- Variance Analysis: Analyse variances between actual results and budget/forecasts, providing insights and recommendations for corrective actions.
- Compliance & Controls: Ensure financial processes comply with relevant regulations, standards, and internal controls.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to financial systems, processes, and reporting tools to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the finance function.
Profile
- Strong proficiency in financial reporting and analysis.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and experience with financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements.
- Potentially working towards an Accountancy qualification.
- Preferably have had previous experience working as a Management Accountant.
Job Offer
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
