- £28,000 - £32,000 salary

Job specification:
- Oversee VAT reporting obligations and ensure compliance.
- Gain a thorough understanding of VAT collection processes and procedures.
- Review and process vendor invoices and employee expense reports.
- Prepare payment setups for approval.
- Collaborate closely with the Controller and Assistant Controller during the annual audit.
- Assist with the accounts receivable process, including collections and cash application.
- Reconcile customer statements and monitor accounts for overdue invoices.
- Foster strong communication and working relationships with customers to facilitate timely payments and promptly resolve any issues.
- Process payroll and record monthly payroll journal entries.
- Perform additional tasks as needed to support business operations.
Person specification:
- Must hold a UK Driving Licence with access to a car.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Preferred 1-5 years of experience in finance, with a solid background in the field.
- Highly detail-oriented with strong technical, analytical, and organisational abilities.
- Capable of multitasking with a proactive, team-oriented approach.
- Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and perform well under pressure and tight timelines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
