Credit Controller Wanted!

8:30am - 5pm (1 hour lunch)
Salary - £28,000
Temporary to Permanent
Are you a detail-oriented individual with a knack for numbers? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment? Look no further! We're currently seeking a Credit Controller to join our client's dynamic team in Oldbury.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage all aspects of the credit control process.
- Chase outstanding payments via phone, email, and letter
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and payments.
- Proactively negotiate and set up payment plans.
- Resolve customer queries and provide exceptional customer service.
- Conduct credit checks on new and existing customers
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve any credit-related issues.
- Prepare regular reports on credit control activities.
- Assist with month-end duties and provide support to the finance team.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in credit control or a similar role
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office Suite
- Knowledge of credit risk assessment and credit management principles
