Job Requirements of this English Teacher job in Bentley, Hampshire:
- Qualifications: Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience: Previous experience teaching English at Entry Level, Functional Skills, Key Stage 3, and GCSE levels
Role Overview:
- Teach English to boys aged 11 to 17 in a small, supportive setting
- Personalise learning to meet individual student needs
- Build professional, nurturing, and positive relationships with students
- Inspire students and create engaging learning opportunities
- Manage complex and challenging behaviours with attention, appropriate communication, consistency, and flexibility
- Participate in decision-making processes and contribute to curriculum development and extracurricular activities
- Occasionally cover at another Hampshire school
