Workplace Coordinator & Studio Receptionist

I am super excited to be hiring a Workplace Coordinator to join my client's dynamic team in Cambridge. As the face of this thriving international company with no less than 500 of the industry's most talented individuals, from the moment the door opens, you will represent my client in the best way possible!

You'll be part of a small, friendly team looking after the studio and be comfortable collaborating with people at all levels across the business, happy liaising with all service providers and internal customers to ensure the best possible workplace solutions are offered.

What will your day to day look like?

It will range from managing the reception desk, being the first point of call for all visitors and contractors, to the creation and and management of ID cards for new starters/existing staff etc. Acting as a key point of contact for Facilities & Business Support, you'll ensure all handyman, porterage, and meeting room related work orders are completed on time. You'll also manage the mail room services, work closely with IT to manage weekly shipping of new starter kits and support department with completion of Helpdesk tickets. You'll provide support when it comes to travel arrangements, you'll manage both hot desk, meeting room, and zone bookings, including room set-up, meeting materials, and catering arrangements, you'll conduct DSE assessments, risk assessments, manual handling training, fire marshal, and first aid arrangements.... And anything else that you might want to get involved in!

Who are you?

You'll be customer-focused with relevant experience in customer services or facilities in a B2C environment. You'll have an ace problem-solving ability, and will be a strong team player with a passion for customer service.

Goes without saying, you'll be Microsoft systems literate with excellent communication and influencing skills, you'll be diplomatic, tactful, and approachable, self-motivated, resourceful, and resilient, as well as business-minded, change-orientated, and proactive!

This role will require you to be in the studio full-time, 5 days a week so it's vital that are commutable to Cambridge. My fabulous client is flexible with the hours across the 5 days, with a minimum of 30 hours pro rata.
