Job Opportunity: Education Health Care Plan (EHCP) Coordinator (Hybrid) Join a dedicated team making an impact in West London with flexible working options!
Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs and helping them achieve their full potential? We're looking for an organized and committed EHCP Coordinator to join our team, working with a Local Authority in West London through hybrid working arrangements.
Role: As the EHCP Coordinator, you'll manage the entire process of creating and maintaining Education Health Care Plans. You'll work closely with families, schools, and multi-agency professionals to ensure each plan is thorough, accurate, and meets the individual needs of the child.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the EHCP process from assessment to issuance
- Collaborate with schools, families, and professionals to gather key information
- Ensure compliance with statutory timeframes and legal obligations
- Draft EHCPs, attend meetings (both virtually and in-person), and manage a caseload of children and young people
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of EHCP processes and SEND legislation
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines
- Experience in SEN or local authority work is an advantage
Location: Hybrid working (mix of remote and office-based) in West London Pay Rate: Negotiable, dependent on experience
