Job Title: Mechanical Engineer
Location: Glasgow
Salary: Up to £30,000 basic, dependent on experience + benefits
Who You'll Be Working For
Our client is the UK's largest provider of garage equipment workshop services and spares, and is a member of a European group active in various sectors, including manufacturing, distribution, and services within the automotive aftermarket
Main Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair a variety of garage equipment products in the field, such as vehicle lifts, brake testers, gas analysers and smoke testers
- Complete and submit accurate paperwork as required
- Adhere to Health & Safety laws and regulations within the workplace
- Manage van stock to achieve First Time Fix targets
Typical Skills & Experience
- Possess a solid working knowledge and experience in Mechanical Engineering within a field service context
- Experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment
- Ability to understand and follow procedures and work instructions, adhering to specified standards
- Strong communication skills
- A full, clean UK driving license is essential
