Private Equity Solicitor

We are seeking driven and motivated private equity Associates, ideally with a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience, to join our clients thriving London team.

More about the role

  • Your responsibilities will involve advising private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, and management teams on various matters. This is including auction and buyout processes, investments, exits, and corporate advisory work.
  • The firm are committed to expanding this dynamic and successful team, as it plays a crucial role in the corporate practice and the broader strategy of our private equity capabilities.

Required Skills:

  • Experience working on multiple private equity transactions, including drafting and negotiating preliminary documentation such as Exclusivity Agreements, Heads of Terms, and Management Equity Term Sheets. Also, SPAs, Disclosure Letters, Investment Agreements, and Articles of Association, conducting legal due diligence, and preparing ancillary documentation.
  • Excellent drafting and technical skills.
  • Ideally, familiarity with typical terms in private equity transactions.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ideally, previous experience working in the London office of an international firm.
