NEW ROLE:

Leaving Care Support Worker!

We are currently recruiting for a leaving care support worker in the Greater Manchester area. You will be responsible for promoting the independence of service users aged 16-18 years old. You will be expected to provide a high standard of care for the service users in the service, ensuring all aspects of the service users physical, emotional, social and intellectual needs are met. You will be expected to use your initiative when providing support, work cooperatively as part of a team and to provide to fellow colleagues.

What we require:

  • Previous experience of working with children/young adults who presented emotional or behavioural difficulties.
  • Understanding of how to appropriately safeguard young people and colleagues.
  • Ability to confidently support each individual specific needs.
  • Ability to work with a degree of autonomy in a flexible manner.

We are looking for someone who can commit to working 2-4 full shifts per week ( the shift patterns typically include a 10am start, finishing at 10:30am the following day).
