Regeneration Project Manager
- Contract Type: Temporary (Initial 6 months)
- Location: South Yorkshire
- Pay: £450 to £500 per day (Umbrella)
We are seeking a Regeneration Project Manager to lead and manage programmes and projects focused on Economic Regeneration within a South Yorkshire Local Authority. This role is pivotal in improving the welfare and wellbeing of the borough's residents and requires a candidate with a strong background in managing town fund levelling up and capital construction projects.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Lead procurement exercises for projects, ensuring contract performance aligns with scope, outputs, outcomes, and budget.
- Coordinate human and financial resources, including forecasting, monitoring, and reviewing to ensure timely and on-budget project delivery.
- Complete and submit project monitoring information and grant claim forms as required by funders.
- Identify and monitor risks and issues to ensure successful project delivery.
- Perform complex data analysis and interpretation, promoting quality practice and continuous service improvement.
- Evaluate and implement processes, technology, and systems to enhance project and service delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project management, with the ability to manage town funding levelling up and capital construction projects.
- Local Authority experience is highly desirable, but outstanding candidates from other sectors will be considered.
- Proficiency in performance management and data analysis.
- Experience in leading procurement exercises and managing contracts.
- Knowledge of Better Business Case principles for project Business Cases.
