Warehouse Manager
Our client, who are going through expansion are opening a distribution warehouse based near Oxford and keen to recruit a Warehouse Manager. This is an exciting time to join as you will be growing a new team, at a time where the business is growing from strength to strength!
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient workflow and timely deliveries.
- Lead and motivate a team, ensuring high levels of performance and safety.
- Manage stock levels, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
- Work with the management team to ensure all systems are running correctly.
- Distribute, coordinate and monitor the daily activities of the team by adapting resources for optimal productivity and profitability.
- Coordinate with the trade counter to ensure a seamless supply chain.
- Ensuring service, quality and health and safety standards.
- Ensure that both internal and external customer KPI expectations are met or exceeded.
- Managing full process of warehouse orders for collection or delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure stock accuracy.
- Perform tasks in a safe and structured way.
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures.
- Manage distribution of items to site or to branches within the group.
- Regular use of a forklift.
Requirements:
- Previous warehouse management experience is essential.
- To be comfortable heavy lifting
- Forklift experience is essential
- You will need to have a full UK Driving Licence.
Salary - Up to £45,000 dependant on experience
Hours - Monday - Friday core business hours
