Overview
An established multi-national organisation in Bromsgrove has recently approached Mitchell Adam for assistance with their search for a talented and ambitious Assistant Management Accountant. The role has become available due to an internal promotion and the organisation has recently renovated their modern and vibrant offices. Their offices are located in close proximity to the Bromsgrove railway station and have a large free on-site car park which ensures that those travelling via train, bus or car are all able to easily commute into the office. The organisation encourages a flexible hybrid working style, where individuals can start work early and finish early, or start work late and finish late, allowing staff to work around their social life and enable a strong work life balance.
As an Assistant Management Accountant, you will be involved with a variety of responsibilities within the finance function. The organisation has aims to develop their staff to positions which suits their strengths. Within the business there are potential opportunities to develop, for example If you are looking to take on business partnering responsibilities, you will be encouraged to sit in on budgeting meetings, shadow the Senior Finance Business Partner and watch them liaise with budget holders and external stakeholders. If you are looking to develop further in management accounts, you will be working closely with the Management Accountant and helping with the production of management account packs amongst other responsibilities. This role is one where your development will be encouraged and assisted, and your colleagues within the department will be on hand to help with your progression.

- To be able to communicate in an effective and professional manner. This role has some real opportunities for development and exposure, some of this exposure includes being involved with financial meetings. It is key to be able to provide your commentary in a manner which others will understand.
- To be either currently studying or to have strong ambitions to start your ACCA or CIMA qualification.
- To have a strong ability on Microsoft Excel, and to have experience with posting journals and completing reconciliations.
