Your new company
My client is a trusted, registered social landlord who prides themselves on providing safe, affordable and quality homes across the North of the UK. Truly passionate about what they do, they are starting an exciting expansion project within their trades & labour division! Due to this, they are seeking the support of a dedicated recruitment officer to work alongside the Talent Manager.
Your new role
As a Recruitment Coordinator, you will report into, and closely collaborate with, the Talent Manager to deliver on the Trades & Labour project. More than advertising, resourcing & selection, this role will see you take a lead on organising and hosting several open days across the region! You will be working proactively to attract relevant professionals for this campaign of initially 20 vacancies. Moreover, you will be responsible for coordinating interviews, maintaining the recruitment database, creating engaging job descriptions and building a network on LinkedIn!
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have construction industry experience, ideally blue collar, however all sectors will be considered! Confident, and able to take a lead on projects, you will be able to work at pace as well as independently on open days. Dedicated and keen to deliver on the project demands, you will be putting your flexible and can do attitude into good use daily! You will have a strong sense of initiative and be able to see beyond surface level! Being able to commute across the North is essential, with mileage reimbursed for any out-of-office travel. You will be able to work from the Birchwood-based offices one day a week as a minimum.
What you'll get in return
Working with an organisation that puts its visions and values at the heart of all they do, you will have a 3-month temporary post which has the scope for extension and potential permanent prospects! You will have a 35-hour working week, 7 hours per day, Monday through Friday. A degree of flexibility is needed to meet business requirements, however this is a Monday to Friday post. You will have access to excellent transport links locally, as well as ample free on-site parking. Your hourly rate will equate to £30,000pa, which is £18.63ph. A quick start is available!
