As a housing trust we are Inspired by our Communities. We care about the people who live in our homes and our neighbourhoods and are committed to improving services, working in partnership with our tenants so that we can be successful together.

An exciting opportunity has been created in our Housing Management and Support Service for two Housing Assistants. You will assist our Housing Management team by providing a wide range of administration support. Due to the busy and unpredictable nature of the role you must be able to manage your time and prioritise your workload effectively.

Our terms and conditions are good and for the right person we offer a 35-hour week, competitive salary, excellent contributory pension scheme and 25 days holiday, increasing to 30 days.

We are looking for an assistant who can work on all aspects of tenancy management.

What You Will Bring:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience of providing a customer facing, front line service in a busy environment whilst maintaining a courteous and helpful manner.
  • A team player attitude
  • A friendly and positive approach
  • Time management skills
  • Experience of working with Microsoft Office and equivalent software
  • Ability to complete tasks in an accurate and timely manner when working under pressure and maintaining attention to detail.
  • Effective liaison with colleagues and other stakeholders to give or find information to resolve problems.

This is your chance to gain hands-on experience within an administration role in social housing and make a real impact.

You will use your professional experience, expert sector knowledge to develop and deliver a high-quality service. You will be solution-focused and, professionally curious. Previously working in social housing would be beneficial, but more importantly you will need to be great with people and be an excellent team player.
