We are now seeking an experienced talented and creative Website Designer to join their dynamic team to help elevate their digital presence.
As Website Designer, you will be instrumental in designing intuitive and impactful user experiences for e-commerce platforms, primarily built on Magento. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform complex requirements into user-friendly designs that enhance customer satisfaction and drive conversions.
Key Responsibilities

CMS Proficiency:
-
Experience with CMS systems like Magento to update content and design pages for both mobile and desktop.

Ability to create pages using HTML and CSS, and improve existing HTML within the CMS.

Content and Design:
-
Update website content to align with brand style and ensure consistency.

Design user-responsive and efficient layouts for desktop, tablet, and mobile.

Produce bespoke landing pages to enhance website metrics.

Design Tools and Aesthetics:

Familiarity with design programs such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Suite.

A keen eye for layout aesthetics and details, with ecommerce/online retail experience being a bonus.

Testing and Analytics:

Experience in testing and debugging content pages and designs built in a CMS.

Conduct A/B tests and analyse results.

Understanding of UX audits, heat maps, and Google Analytics is beneficial.

Collaboration and Learning:

Ability to work effectively within a team and collaborate with other departments.

Organised and analytical approach to scheduling work and providing accurate completion times.

Curiosity about new technologies and a drive to implement them.

Strong desire to learn and improve front-end skills.
Skills & Experience
- Degree in Design or related field
- 3+ years of experience in website design, with a strong portfolio showcasing e-commerce/online retail projects
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD)
- Solid understanding of Magento platform (or similar) and e-commerce design principles
- Knowledge of HTML and CSS
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a user-centric mindset
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and advocate for the user
