We are looking for a highly skilled and dynamic Interim Financial Director (FD) to join our clients team for a 6-month engagement. This role is crucial for overseeing our financial operations and ensuring a seamless transition during the interim period.
- Start Date: ASAP (September 2024)
- Duration: 6 months
- Location: Bristol (Hybrid, 3 days in the office)
- Rate: £450-£700 per day via Umbrella, depending on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all financial operations.
- Spearhead the preparation for our first-year audit.
- Provide critical operational oversight and bridge any operational gaps.
- Ensure a smooth financial transition period.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Professional contractor
- Audit background
- Proven experience in software/SME environments.
- Solid system experience and advanced Excel
Role details:
- Financial Operations: Oversee all financial operations including AR, AP, payroll, revenue recognition, and the month-end process.
- Year-End & Audit: Manage annual audit, accounts, and tax processes in collaboration with external accountants and auditors.
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to provide actionable insights for decision-making.
- Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements, complying with regulatory requirements.
