Page Personnel are partnering with a business looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their accountancy team on a full time permanent basis.

Our client is a successful business that have seen rapid growth in the past 12 months. They are based in Southampton and do require travel to their offices.
Description
As the Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Preparations prior to banking activity
- Download bank statement
- Prepare banking receipts and payments for allocation
- Post nominal ledger journals ready for allocation
- Carry out daily bank reconciliation
- Prepare any cash and cheque receipts for allocation and banking
- Support Sales Ledger/Purchase Ledger Functions as required
- Support credit control function
Profile
To be successful for the Accounts Assistant position, you must:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferable
- Previous experience in a credit control role
- Familiarity with accounting systems within previous work experience
- Deep knowledge of Excel and Word
- Effective communicator
- Attention to detail

Salary £25,000 - £30,000
