About the Role: We are recruiting on behalf of a London-based council for a Project/ Programme Manager in the Early Intervention and Prevention service area. You will manage a £1 million government grant to deliver high-quality holiday activities and food programmes for children and young people in Central London

Council Project Manager - Grant Allocation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and report on holiday activities and food programmes.
  • Engage and manage relationships with key partners.
  • Develop and support high-quality provision from activity and food providers.
  • Ensure effective use of resources and funding.
  • Develop a quality assurance programme.
  • Report on programme take-up and other measures.
  • Convene and report to a steering group.
  • Provide project management for other programmes.
  • Lead the Early Childhood Information and Development Officer.
  • Produce high-quality reports for stakeholders.

Council Project Manager - Grant Allocation

Specification:

  • Experience in developing play and enrichment activities for children.
  • Significant project management experience.
  • Experience in establishing strategic partnerships with councils and providers.
  • Experience in budget management.
  • Ability to produce high-quality project plans and reports.
