Senior Quality Engineer - Supplier

£45000-£50000 plus Benefits plus enhanced pension plus 25 days leave
Mon-Fri 8am-4pm, 37.5 hours
Are you an engineer from a quality engineering background looking for a very interesting position for a global manufacturer in their fasting growing division.
The role offers variety and the opportunity to play a major part in the success of the division.
The role will be partnering with suppliers throughout the lifecycle, from tendering to development to production introduction and finally volume manufacturing.
The company supply into the automotive sector and therefore work to IATF16949 quality standards.
The Role
- Full time permanent role within the manufacturing sectors working to automotive quality standards
- Lead the product development process and ensure all aspects of APQP are applied
- Perform second party audits on new and existing suppliers
The Person
- Working background in quality engineering
- Strong understanding of IATF 16949
- Competent in the use of Laboratory, inspection and measuring equipment.
- Competent in the use of statistical data and problem-solving techniques.
