We are seeking a dedicated Private Client Solicitor ideally with 2+ years PQE to join a friendly and expanding team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a professional with a strong background in private client law to contribute to the growth and success of the dept. The ideal candidate will have experience advising on a variety of Private Client matters and enjoy a diverse and interesting caseload.
Duties will include:
- Advising clients on a range of private client matters including some complex issues.
- Drafting legal documents such as wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
- Administering estates and handling applications to the court of protection.
- Working under the guidance of the Head of Private Client and collaborating with the team.
- You will be taking on an existing caseload as well as developing new client relationships, contributing to the growth of the department.
- A high degree of autonomy and full legal admin support will be available
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 2+ years PQE in private client law.
- Experience in a busy private client department
- Excellent technical ability in private client matters.
- Strong organisational, IT, and document management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work flexibly.
- Commercially astute with proven business development skills.
- Self-starter capable of working under their own initiative.
