Berry Recruitment is delighted to be working with a long standing client seeking a Mobile Fitter for their very busy welfare services business.
The role is based out of Bury St Edmunds however the successful applicant must be happy to drive and have no more than 6 points on your license to enable you to drive the company vehicles and to carry out your role.
90% of your time will be working on clients sites working on their welfare units that are installed.
Your work will include the following:
- Diagnosing faults, repairing and maintaining a variety or toilets or Eco welfare blocks.
- Checking all equipment and asset tagging accordingly, carrying out electrical tests, checking heating systems and recording all service records correctly.
- Maintain an up to date knowledge of the products and full range of accessories
- Assist in ensuring the availability of all units for hire.
- Complete all test certificates and associated paperwork.
- Ensure best working practices and Health and Safety is adhered to.
- Must always wear correct PPE
- Keeping the workshop and your van tidy and organised, help in the workshop in the yard if there is no bookings on the mobile work.
- Must be prepared to work as a team with your colleagues
3.5 T licence must be held with no more than 6 points on your licence
