Salary up to £37,000 depending on the chosen shift pattern + Overtime
My client freight forwarder. A transport & logistics business is seeking a highly skilled Class 1 Driver to join their team in Coleshill. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic and efficient team, working on a chosen shift pattern.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate Class 1 vehicles, ensuring compliance with all road traffic regulations and company policies.
- Ensure deliveries are delivered in a timely delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Inspect vehicle condition before and after each trip, reporting any issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Provide excellent customer service, interacting professionally with clients and colleagues.
- This role will require a limited amount of manual handling
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 driving license
- Current CPC (Card for Professional Competence)
- Digital tachograph card
- Clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Must complete a Criminal Records check due to the nature of the clients business
