Academics are working with an incredibly friendly and welcoming Secondary school located in the heart of Grays, Essex that are seeking a passionate Behaviour Support TA this September on a long term contract!

The Secondary school is seeking an individual who is highly enthusiastic and passionate about working with children with SEN/SEMH.

The ideal candidate must possess outstanding behaviour management skills and the ability to think swiftly on their feet while adapting quickly.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and dedicated individual to work with students in a superb Secondary school. This will be a fantastic role for either graduates with a degree relating to Education coupled with experience or an experienced Behaviour Support TA or youth worker.

Responsibilities:

  • * As a Behaviour Support TA you will provide targeted support to students to address challenging behaviour.
  • * Implement and monitor individual behaviour support plans.
  • * As a Behaviour Support TA you will collaborate with teachers and SENCO's to address specific needs.
  • * Foster positive relationships with students to encourage their social and emotional development.
  • * Provide feedback to teachers and parents on the progress of behaviour support plans.

Experience working with children will be an advantage but above all, personality is important. If you are proactive, take initiative and have good problem solving skills, you will shine in this environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and dedicated individual who is looking to gain experience in the classroom. This will be a fantastic role for either graduates with a degree relating to Education coupled with experience or an experienced Behaviour mentor or youth worker.
