Thank you for taking the time to read about this brand-new opportunity with TJC Heritage!

  • Are you a self-starter that loves to get involved and lead in a variety of different projects / tasks from H&S to operations, meeting coordination to editing reports?
  • Do you consider yourself super organised, with meticulous attention to detail?
  • Would you rather work for a smaller business, in a close-knit team, where you can see your impact every day?
  • Have you always had an appreciation and interest in historic architecture and landscapes?

If you're reading the above and thinking yes, yes, yes, the new Office Manager role at TJC Heritage could be the perfect role for you!

Who are TJC Heritage?

TJC Heritage was founded in 2012, and now they operate across the country. This role will be based in the Sheffield office, which is currently located in Bents Green. However, there is an office move upcoming, which will be one of many exciting projects that the new Office Manager will be leading on and overseeing!

TJC Heritage are a heritage practice with expertise in archaeology that specialises in the recording and interpretation of historic buildings, gardens and designed landscapes.

TJC have strong relationships with their clients and often act as specialist consultant within project teams.

Due to a period of growth, they're now looking to find someone to join them in the role of Office Manager. With this role being newly created, we're looking for someone who is an experienced administrator who has previous experience of establishing and running processes and who will work closely with the key director to maximise his way of working.

In any event, some of the key projects this person will lead on in the first instance are:

  • Establishing a system for the key director, to remove himself from the day-to-day admin of the business
  • Establishing a system for a weekly meeting with any actions followed up
  • Managing health and safety and ensuring compliance.
  • Reviewing how the organisation reports and implementing a systemisation of template use
  • Reviewing how the organisation manages multiple projects, auditing current practice, making recommendations and implementing improvements
  • Leading on the office move
  • Documenting key processes not already documented

Ideally this person would like to work full time, but TJC Heritage are open for this to be a part time role covering 9:30am-2:30pm for the right candidate.

If you'd like to find out more about TJC you can have a look at their website.
