Account Manager - Secondary Care

Dictate IT, a Clanwilliam brand and part of the Clanwilliam UK Division, is a leading expert in clinical dictation and speech recognition. It specialises in healthcare and its speech recognition software is developed using the most advanced neural net technology. It provides innovative, cost effective and clinically safe solutions to Primary and Secondary care NHS organisations, covering the entire patient journey, and enabling a more connected health care approach.

Due to our ambitious growth plans across the division, we now have an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager to join our Secondary Care team in the UK. We are looking for a qualified Account Manager, who has experience in the healthcare sector, who can manage and cross-sell across our brand portfolio.

The Account Manager will be focused on the renewal of our Secondary Care contracts and increasing revenue within the portfolio. There is an element of new business, which involves prospecting and lead generation through to contract signature. Marketing support will be provided to assist with prospecting and lead generation.

Key Objectives:

  • Build and maintain strong and long-lasting relationships with key external stakeholders.
  • To support the customer in maximising the benefits from the Clanwilliam UK brands by identifying opportunities to expand their use of the system by upselling and cross selling modules and expanding the system into other specialities.
  • New business acquisition.

Key Duties:

  • Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to customers.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Achieve annual revenue targets for both new business and existing account upsells.
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts and customer stakeholders.
  • Develop individual account management strategies to track the market and competitive landscape.
  • Regularly review call logs with the Customer Support Manager to identify areas of concern and opportunities.
  • Develop new business within existing accounts and/or identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist with high severity requests or issue escalations as needed.
  • Identify key PR and promotional opportunities and work with the Marketing Manager to facilitate these.
  • Maintain a strong relationship with flagship accounts and work with the new business team to ensure successful site visits.
  • Work on own initiative and to act independently within appropriate policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Maintaining and updating CRM database.
  • Tracking market and competitive landscape.

Required:

  • 3+ years' experience of sales and/or account management, with successful track record.
  • Good business acumen.
  • Positive, flexible person responsible for achieving ambitious results.
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A full drivers licence.
  • Ability to travel (UK).

Preferred:

  • Experience in secondary care sector.
  • Experience in selling to healthcare customers.
  • Experience in selling software solutions.
