Description
The key responsibilities for the Management Accountant role are:
- Lead the Accounting & Finance department, driving the team to meet financial objectives.
- Prepare accurate monthly management accounts, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Conduct in-depth profitability analysis, providing strategic insights to senior leadership.
- Oversee budgeting and forecasting activities, providing accurate financial guidance.
- Implement and monitor internal controls, ensuring financial integrity at all times.
- Manage end-of-period processes, ensuring timely reporting and analysis.
- Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function.
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- An academic background in Accounting or Finance.
- Proficiency in financial reporting and management accounting.
- Strong leadership skills, with an ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Excellent analytical skills, with a strong aptitude for profitability analysis.
- A professional accounting qualification.
- 2 years + experience working in a Management Accountant role.
- Strong communication skills, with an ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders.
