We are looking for an Operational Events Manager to join our client, based in London.
Your new role
As Operational Events Manager, you will be hands-on, driving a culture of high-quality customer excellence, managing a diverse multi-skilled service delivery team. You will be responsible for providing facilities for major events that take place in and around the city. It will be the responsibility of the Operational Events Manager to ensure contractual requirements are achieved and maintained across multiple sites. You will set the team objectives and goals and will decide what work needs to be done to meet those goals.
You will manage your own work load and ensure all staff are trained and records of their learning and development are kept.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will have a high standard of literacy and numeracy, as well as excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills. The ideal candidate will have Skilled Trade or events industry background and City and Guilds in Signing, Lighting and Guarding. A full and valid driving licence is essential, along with flexibility essential in workload and possibly hours if needed.
