Jewson, a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe, is on the hunt for a Field Sales Executive who's as passionate about great service as we are.

Hours - 7_.30 - 5.00 Monday to Friday, mainly out on the road._
You'll be working for the Jewson Regional Sales Team; however, the role is predominantly field based covering the West Wickham and Penge area.
To assist you in this role, you will be provided with a mobile phone, laptop and a car allowance.
Key Responsibilities
- Find and develop new business via cold calling, lead follow ups, and general customer interaction
- Support customers with the on-boarding of their new account, ensuring that they start and continue to spend
- Target dormant & lapsed accounts to reactivate them
- Develop trusted relationships with a portfolio of customers to maintain and improve profitability
- Acquire a thorough understanding of customer needs and requirements, expanding relationships by continuously proposing solutions that meet the customer's needs
- Work with all functions and branch teams to ensure that all opportunities are leveraged
- When on site must comply with all EHS policies and procedures

Required Skills and Experience
- A full UK Drivers Licence with no more than 6 points
- Strong direct sales skills and commercial focus
- Current knowledge of building materials and of the current construction market would be beneficial to the role
- Proven experience in customer facing business and a proactive sales and customer focused environment delivering results.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; written, phone and face to face.
