We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Sales Executive to join our client's team in Southampton. About the Role

As a Sales Executive, you will play a key role in identifying and developing new business opportunities, understanding customer needs, and guiding them to the most suitable products. You will be responsible for delivering a high level of customer satisfaction, ensuring each customer has an exceptional experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Interaction: Demonstrate product features, understand customer buying strategies, and encourage test drives.
  • Sales Agreements: Negotiate prices, finance arrangements, and payment methods, adhering to company guidelines.
  • Training and Development: Engage in ongoing training to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
  • Sales Administration: Coordinate with Sales Administration to ensure product availability, manage customer records, and schedule services.
  • Follow-Up: Conduct follow-up calls after deliveries to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain relationships for future business.
  • Prospecting: Plan and organise daily sales activities, proactively contacting prospects and existing customers to generate new business.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues across the dealership to provide seamless customer service.

What We're Looking For

  • Organisational Skills: Ability to plan, organise, and meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills with the ability to quickly assimilate information and provide thoughtful responses.
  • Work Ethic: A strong work ethic, adaptable to change, with attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with PCs, Microsoft Office, and web applications.
  • Customer Focus: Ability to build rapport with customers, providing exceptional service and fostering long-term relationships.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday: 08:30 - 18:00 (with 1 hour for lunch), standard day off during the week
  • Saturday: 08:30 - 17:00
  • Sunday: 10:00 - 16:00 (rota basis)
