Project Manager (Payroll)
Rate: circa. £650 per day
Job Type: Temporary (6 months)
SRG are working with a leading Global Pharmaceutical Organization, supporting their search for a Project Manager so assist on a temporary assignment. The successful candidate will need to have strong project management expertise as well as hands-on Payroll Implementation experience. This role will span 6 months at first, with an option for extension. Hybrid working is available but some office presence will be required in one of the client's sites.
Main Responsibilities include:
- Being responsible for the management and overall coordination, status reporting and stability of a variety of enterprise wide projects.
- Establishing & implementing project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet customer expectations.
- Handling the assembly of project plans, teamwork assignments, directing and monitoring work efforts on a daily basis.
- Identifying resource needs, performs quality reviews, accesses and mitigates risk.
- Escalates functional quality and timeline issues appropriately. Responsible for tracking costs, key project milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resources to meet the needs of customers.
- Coordinates communication with all areas of the enterprise that impacts the scope, budget, risk and resources of the work effort being managed.
Skills/experience required:
- Bachelor's degree
- Proven project management experience (ideally 3 years or more)
- Working understanding of the budget management process
- Hands-on payroll implementation experience
- Above-country level experience - ideally EMEA
- Good knowledge of (and ideally experience working within) the pharmaceutical industry would be an advantage but is not essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Adept at working independently and as part of a team
