Role summary:
This role is primarily to support the Residential Product and Life Cycle Solutions teams in achieving strategic targets through effective communication and cascading of technical information.
You will support the Product Support Technical Manager and Site Services Manager with investigations into product quality. This will involve site visits and potentially completion of remedial work where appropriate. You will develop, implement, track and control quality rework projects, ensuring successful completion and recovery of all associated costs.
Whilst also tracking and supervise the progress of all open quality investigations ensuring comprehensive logging of data on relevant systems, you will deliver quality reports that provide a detailed and analytical insight, ensuring that data is relevant, and risk is appropriately established.
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic & self-motivated with the confidence to take the initiative to solve problems and can be a real team player. You must demonstrate pride in the Mitsubishi Electric brand and the products which provide renewable solutions to residential products and services.
Skills/Responsibilities:
- Support the flow of technical information between RPG/RLCS, factories, technical working groups, suppliers & PMD.
- Support Operations and Pre-Sales teams.
- Support Product Marketing & Development team with technical expertise during product development process, throughout product launches. This will involve participating in development meeting, field trials and product launch activities.
- Support MERCE (Mitsubishi Electric Research Centre Europe) with LES product-related projects.
- Pro-actively feed back product and tool enhancement ideas to factories.
- Represent MEU-UK at Pan-European QTM meetings as the Technical Lead and support to Technical Manager
- Support the recruitment process of Product Support vacancies as required.
- Must be willing to travel nationally; occasional international travel may be required.
Experience:
- C&G NVQ Level 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (or equivalent qualification)
- Category 1 F-Gas (C&G 2079)
