FINANCE MANAGER
£45,000 - £55,000 PA + BONUS

I have partnered with a leading consultancy firm to recruit an experienced Finance Manager to play a key role in managing the delivery of accounting, bookkeeping, and financial reporting services to their clients. You will be either a Finalist/Qualified or QBE Accountant looking to take the next step in your career. Set in great modern offices with good links to public transport.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the oversight of overseas subsidiaries, including accounting for transactions such as sales ledger, purchase ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Liaise with overseas accountants to ensure the completeness and accuracy of accounting records.
- Contribute to the management, motivation, and development of the finance team.
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports, accounts, forecasts, and other financial documentation.
- Monitor the daily cash position and manage client funds.
- Review payment runs and provide support for monthly reporting and ad hoc tasks as required by the Financial Controller.
- Support the delivery of bookkeeping and accounting services to clients and oversee the day-to-day operations of the client accounting team.
- Prepare quarterly client reports and liaise with clients regarding the delivery of accounting services.
- Review weekly and monthly payment runs and assist with the coordination of payroll administration, including reviewing monthly payroll reports.
- Oversee the onboarding process for new clients, including identifying the contracting party, obtaining KYC documents, and reviewing contract details and client instructions.
Person Specification:
- Qualified Accountant - ACA/ACCA/CIMA/QBE.
- Proven financial management experience in an SME environment.
- Practice background with client-facing experience is ideal.
- Excellent communication and presentational skills with initiative to improve business operating and reporting systems.
- Proficiency in Xero and advanced Excel skills.
- Experience assisting with financial reporting, cash flow forecasting, and budget management.
- Knowledge of UK VAT
- Ability to manage and develop a finance team
- Client-facing experience with strong client service orientation
