Mechanical Design Engineer
£35-£40ph Outside IR35

gap technical are proud to be representing a Market Leading Engineering business in their search for Mechanical Design Engineer to work at their offices based in Manchester.
Performance Objectives
- Ability to design utilising AutoCAD and/or Solidworks
- Producing detailed designs, manufacturing drawings and General Arrangements (GA)
- Experienced of designing Industrial Machinery, Pipework, Layouts, Fabrications, Conveyors,
Steel platforms, Pipework, layouts, Conveyors
- Preparing required BOMs and ensuring all paperwork is administered effectively
- Supporting the Project Engineer in all areas of design, and potential for design improvements and suggestions
- Work to company engineering standards and requirements project dependant
Qualifications/Experience
- Experienced in Food Industry - Highly Desirable
- Apprentice trained ideally to NVQ L3/HNC Mechanical Engineering
- AutoCAD/ Solidworks Experience
- Design Projects/Site Experience
