Robertson Bell is once again partnering with a charity to recruit a Year End Accountant on a fully remote basis, for 3-6 month contract.
The main responsibilities of the Interim Year End Accountant include:
- Act as a key point of contact for the external auditors during the year end process and ensure any recommendations are implemented in a timely fashion.
- Attend the Finance and Audit Committee meetings, presenting the accounts and answering any follow up queries as required.
- Lead the preparation of annual accounts.
- Ensure that all income and expenditure is correctly accounted for and reflected in the finance system.
The successful candidate will be:
- A qualified accountant in ACA or ACCA.
- Experienced producing year-end accounts in line with SORP.
- A first-class communicator with excellent Excel skills.
Charity experience is essential for this role.
