Harper May is partnering with a leading consultancy group that is pioneering innovation and offering comprehensive solutions to clients globally. They are currently seeking an experienced Group Reporting Manager to join their dynamic team at their London head office.
About the Role:
As the Group Reporting Manager, you will play a crucial role within the rapidly expanding group. You can expect regular interactions with senior leadership both in London and internationally. Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller, you will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy and transparency of financial reporting across various regions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead month-end close and consolidation processes using NetSuite.
- Prepare management accounts and develop the month-end reporting pack.
- Compile monthly board reporting materials.
- Prepare cash flow statements.
- Take ownership of technical accounting areas including business combinations, lease accounting, revenue recognition, etc.
- Contribute to ad-hoc projects related to NetSuite and PowerBI.
- Assist in maintaining and updating the accounting policy manual.
- Collaborate closely with regional finance teams.
- Provide support to tax and treasury departments.
Requirements:
- Fully Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or overseas equivalent).
- Prior experience in external audit is essential.
- Proficiency in handling multi-currency consolidations.
- Comfortable with business combination accounting principles.
- Knowledge of deferred tax accounting, particularly related to IFRS 3 and IFRS 2.
- Demonstrated project management skills, with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with financial control models and RACM (Risk and Control Matrix).
