Working within the renewals team of the specialist Financial Lines Division, you'll be dealing with a wide variety of Professional and Management risks, and wider financial lines risks, including Cyber and Technology risks. This is a truly fascinating area of considerable growth for the company and a great opportunity to join an established but growing team.
Specific duties will include, but not be limited to, underwriting renewal cases, collaborating with the Claims team, as well as developing and maintaining excellent working relationships with the Technical department and the wider business. You'll provide excellent service to brokers, prioritising renewals and mid-term adjustments to ensure deadlines are met. Being a growing business that very much listens to, and implements employees' great ideas and suggestions, you'll have the opportunity to get involved in some really interesting ad hoc projects and make a real difference.
You will benefit from a highly comprehensive training and development plan. It is not essential that you have previous experience within Professional Indemnity insurance as full training will be provided, however, you must have some underwriting experience (this could either be from a commercial or personal lines insurance environment, or, you may currently be an Insurance Broker, who has underwritten via delegated authority. It's essential that you are well-organised and efficient, and as you'll regularly be dealing with brokers over the telephone, you'll be engaging and professional.
