This role offers a range of responsibilities, designed to support the day to day operations of a busy finance team. Based in their offices in Wednesbury, this will be a varied position, suited to a hands on individual with a range of skills in accounts, specifically:
- all elements of accounts payable and receivable
- reconciliation of bank accounts & supplier statements
- employee expenses
- credit control, including monitoring credit limits and opening new accounts
- monitoring the accounts inbox, and resolving queries from suppliers and customers
- cash book & petty cash management
- assisting with month end duties, including journals, accruals and P&L codings
The successful candidate will report directly into the Financial Controller, and can develop their skills in the additional elements of management accounts as they progress into the role. It will suit someone with the AAT qualification or equivalent experience, who has a good level of Excel knowledge. Experience with an ERP, preferably SAP, would be highly regarded.
