Merchandiser | Cheadle | Salary: £30,000 - £34,000 + Benefits

Zachary Daniels have an exciting opportunity to join a successful and well-established manufacturing & distribution company who market with the hottest brands and deliver some exciting products!

The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of merchandising relating to out D2C customers. This will involve working with customers to ensure that stock forecast requirements are as accurate as possible and that replenishment buys are recommended to the business in a timely manner.

**Merchandiser Benefits:

Responsibilities for a Merchandiser (but not limited to)

  • Develop excellent working relationships with customer merchandising teams.
  • Work to service level KPI's.
  • Work with suppliers to ensure they meet all CWB delivery requirements.
  • Creation and progressing of purchase orders.
  • Ensure all factory paperwork is correct to avoid delays.
  • Liaise with the CW product team to plan all work in a timely manner to avoid delays.
  • Responsible for the correct instructions being given to factories for bespoke customers packaging/delivery requirements.
  • Accountable for the accuracy of all Prima system maintenance when entering new records.
  • Work towards continual improvement of systems and processes, both internally and externally
  • Work towards reducing wasted spend.
  • Liaise with the UK warehouse when required.

Hours of Work:

The business also offers flexible start and finish times with core hours in the office 10:00 to 15:00. Working week is 35 hours. The business operates an early finish Friday at 15:00

**Merchandiser Requirements:

  • Strong verbal and written communications Skills are essential for this role
  • Numerate with the ability to work to budgets and understand sales figures.
  • The ability to fully utilise Microsoft Office (especially Outlook, Excel, and Word)
  • The ability to understand what the customer wants and to be empathetic to those needs whilst maintaining a commercial perspective.
  • The ability to work well in a team.
  • Strong organisational & time management skills
  • The ability to cope with the pressure of fast-paced work.
  • The ability to process stock purchase orders right through from placement to them being receipted by the warehouse in the UK.
